Any males that pursue her need not tire themselves; at mating time they will find her." 2:27 "They say to wood, 'You are my father,' and to stone, 'You gave me birth." (This makes the act of worshipping idols a little more understandable.) 2:31a "You of this generation, consider the word of the Lord;" (Well said.) Jeremiah 2 is so loaded with visions:

I'm caught up with LIVE2010 now, and today when you read the following passage, I could hear the people sounding just like the description: Isaiah 59:11 "We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away." All the following verses sound so much like our world today. Nice that you kept reading on to more positive verses.
